OBs vs Brentwood

This weekends U14s fixture brought a highly anticipated local derby between Brentwood RFC and OBs Acorns , the first time these two teams have met and it didn't disappoint!
In a fiercely competitive opening half both teams went close to scoring but solid defences kept it even until some great team play managed to free Morley who at last evaded Brentwood's impressive Full back to score in the far corner.
This was soon followed by a great solo try from Adesiyan breaking free to calm the nerves.
The OB's forwards have been working hard in training and from some crash ball prop Scott managed to grab his second try in as many matches. 15-0 to OB's at the break.
The second half started even faster than the first, some fantastic tackling from both teams stopped chance after chance. After a delay in play due to a nasty injury to OBs fullback Paulin a shuffle around in positions led to a scrappy period of play from the Acorns before flying winger Adesiyan powered over for his second and OB's fourth try.
Brentwood never gave up and their fullback punched through OBs rearranged backs to score a great individual try , duly converted by him. A great game finished 7-20 to OB's , special mentions to Beaty and Walker for impressive performances.
More lessons learnt ... more to work on .
