OB's U14s vs Romford

The first game of the Essex U14s league 2017/18 saw Old Brentwood Acorns away to Romford and Gidea Park .
The opening stages were fiercely disputed with OBs holding their ground against a physical Romford Pack ... but it didn't take long for the boys to shake of the close season cobwebs and get in to their stride with some fantastic running rugby and lightning quick ball which led to the opening try from Sagomba.
This was soon followed by a good passage of forward play leading to a score from full back Paulin. The unplayable Adesiyan ran in a Hatrick of tries before further scores from Scott, Paulin and man of the match Sagomba .
A great effort from the whole squad and a promising start to the season . Well done boys!!
